BALDWIN PIANOS Sales and Repairs

The Baldwin piano is a favourite at Paul Hahn & Company, and you can
often here us refer to them as the "Chevy Truck " of pianos.

Like we are with all our instruments, we are very selective with the
Baldwin pianos we take on to restore. We focus on 20th century
Baldwins right up to the mid 1970s. In 1983 Baldwin went into
bankruptcy and since that time has undergone a few changes in
ownership, and is currently owned by the Gibson Guitar Corporation.
The piano was originally manufactured in Cincinnati Ohio, but as of
2008, most of their production was moved overseas.

Like so many formerly great manufacturers, Baldwin has moved away from
their handcrafted piano making techniques of their "golden years".
