Toronto Piano Refinishing

We are proud to maintain our own finishing booth here at our location on Yonge Street, and to maintain the old world approach to refinishing pianos. While most of our work is with the classic hand rubbed, satin lacquer finish, we are able to work also with the more modern high gloss polyester finishes.

Vintage pianos have a major advantage where refinishing is concerned, and that is that the manufacturers were working with comparatively thick veneer. This means that when the old finish is stripped a beautiful grain is exposed. We can prepare a colour sample from a piece of your piano, to match a floor, a dominant colour theme, or simply to make a change to the piano's appearance. The options are limitless! Once finished, these pianos seem to be lit from within, and the mahogany displays its versatile nature by reflecting and absorbing light differently throughout the day.
